My household and I transferred to the United States in 2014 We chose Memphis as our 2nd home to start fresh and build a much better future.
When I graduated senior high school in 2020, I chose to sign up with the Military Get so I might work full time to assist sustain my household economically. In the process, my moms and dads always reminded me of the relevance of a college degree. Truthfully, I battled with the choice between picking work over institution.
That altered when I uncovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can make my level 100 % online from a recognized, country wide identified Carnegie R 1 university. The flexibility of the program made it feasible to balance job, life, and education. Once I enlisted, I knew I made the right choice.
As an online pupil, I remained entailed with campus life via career fairs and signing up with pupil organizations like the Society of Personnel Administration. I wished to get one of the most out of my college experience and connect with people that shared my passion for human resources.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of loss term. Thanks to the support and structure of UofM Global, I was able to finish solid, even making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking 4 courses while serving on active service, and I’m proud to say I’ll be graduating in May.
Being able to offer my nation, support my family members, and make my degree suggests the globe to me. I feel ready to take on whatever follows.
